| It's 6 years now since 9/11. Oddly enough this year 9/11 came on a Tuesday also. A lot has changed in my life since that fateful Tuesday morning. Leaving the real world to go back to school, finishing school and starting ministry. There were and are alot of ups and downs, highs and deep lows, but I know God is still working even though I don't know why some stuff happens. I am still trying to see the big picture and to see your hand upon the situations. Ministry at OCM is extremely challenging, stressful and frustrating at times but I know God has called me there to serve Him and His people. If you can, say a quick prayer for me, it's greatly appreciated. Pray that God will continue to mold me and shape me into something useful to Glorify His Name =)

| Back in NYC. As most of you know already, either because you don't see me anymore in Boston or Gordon, or you see me every week in NYC and OCM. I'm still adjusting though to being back home. Good news for those of you who have been wondering- my mom is back at home and doing well. Praise God that He has healed her and prayerfully she is back on the road to leading a normal healthy life. =) Please pray as her insurance has had some complications and I am left to deal with the issues that arose from this, pray that everything will be taken care of and that God is the great provider. As for other news, hmmmm. Well no more long distance relationship for E and me. We see each other at least 3-4 times a week which isn't that hard since she's only a couple blocks away =P, it's been going pretty well so far. Lastly please pray for me in regards to God's leading of where He has called me to ministry. Still waiting upon his direction. Prayerfully I will be able to find a community and church that I can do His work.

| I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I'm almost there! Just finished 1 summer class, heading back up for another one and finishing up a distance class and I am done =P Can't wait till it is all over and I can start working again and move back to NYC. All in all I can say that these past few years in Seminary has probably been the most difficult but also the most fruitful time in my life. The trials of taking Greek & Hebrew, a childhood friend passing away and my mom's health issues are to name a few things which I have had to struggle with. The joys have been good also- starting a relationship with Elaine, actually doing ministry and seeing people grow, and being able to make life-long friends in Seminary while at the same time being solidly trained in all the different parts of Ministry have been essential. Now at last are the last few steps until I finish this stage of my life and move onto the next challenge. Please Pray for me and that I am able to discern God's leading and calling for my future ministry and church. thanks =) Blessings Austin | | |
| Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I've written and oh boy has alot happened in my life. One thing is turning 30, and almost 31 in a couple of months. =( Another thing is almost finishing up my time here at Gordon, just a week left then summer classes then..... i dunno =P , prayerfully i'll be back in NYC. I think most importantly though is the stuff with my mom, I've shared with some of you about my mom's battle with breast cancer and subsequent mastectomy, and now going through Chemo. I guess for those of you who have seen me more often in NYC, now you know why i'm back so often. Well last week my mom was admitted into the ER b/c of stomach pains, and they found out she had a perforated ulcer which required another surgery. She is ok and recovering in the hospital now. please pray for her physical health as it has been drastically declining in the past year. pray that she will be healthy once again to live a normal life. pray also for her salvation- that through these trials Jesus will reveal himself to her so that she can accept Him as her Lord and Savior. anyways just wanted to drop a quick sharing so that you can say a prayer for my mom. thanks =)
Blessings Austin
p.s. i'll be back in nyc in may and june, so email me or gimme a call if you want to meet up or hang out.
